M.C. Dean recently served as a National Veteran Boat Sponsor for Team River Runner’s annual Boat Launch Luncheon. With the help of more than 50 sponsors, Team River Runner raised $500,000 to support wounded veterans, $40,000 more than the previous year.

Team River Runner is a non-profit organization that provides veterans and their families opportunities to find healing and adventure through adaptive water activities. The group organizes kayaking and paddleboard trips across the country, teaching disabled members how to adapt to new physical challenges and reintroducing them to the social, physical, and emotional benefits of nature. This is M.C. Dean’s fourth year sitting on the Board of Directors for this organization.

“As a company founded by a Navy veteran, and with so many past or active service member employees, supporting these heroes is an absolute priority for M.C. Dean,” said Mike Keatley, senior vice president of Electronic Systems and a board member for Team River Runner. “We are committed to continuously provide an exciting, restorative environment for wounded veterans.”

Other sponsors for the 2019 event included trusted partners Clark, Southland, and the Design-Build Institute of America.
