Scope Summary
The Power Conditioning and Continuation Interfacing Equipment (PCCIE) Program Office is responsible for providing power quality solutions in support of the Air Force, Department of Defense (DoD), and other Government agencies’ sensitive electronic equipment/systems and missions. Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), a key engineered solutions element of this program, provides line conditioning and isolation necessary to protect mission critical data from irregular power, and the battery backup necessary to provide continued power during a power outage. PCCIE provides the ability for the Federal Government to acquire a comprehensive approach to ensure engineered systems resiliency, redundancy, and availability to critical power systems, including its monitoring, metering, hazard detection/notification, and distribution switchgear.
