Multi-Factor Authentication adds an extra layer of security to our network services, mitigating security and data privacy threats in compliance with U.S. Government NIST SP 800-171 cybersecurity controls. At M.C. Dean, multi-factor authentication is required to gain access to company systems.

M.C. Dean uses the Microsoft Authenticator App, and Microsoft Hello for Business for Windows Operating Systems and DUO/Microsoft Intune for Macintosh.

The user guides and videos on the right provide step-by-step instructions for installing Microsoft Authenticator app and enabling multi-factor authentication on your device. When logging into VPN, Timesheet, POL, and Benefits, you will be asked to sign-in using your M.C. Dean credentials. The system will prompt you to either approve your login or provide a 6-digit verification code to approve the authentication.
